Also, if I do "telnet localhost 2002", the cmd window would say
"Connected to Dynamips VM "R2" (ID 1, type c7200) - Console port",
however I can not type in anything in this window....
thanks

Subject: RE: How To Run Cisco IOS On Your PC (Dynamips Router Emulator)
Hi Brian,
I'm having problems telnet'ing to the routers after loading the IE .net
file: When running "telnet localhost 7200" or "telnet localhost 7201"
from the command prompt, my telnet window does not print anything
(window is empty, only the cursor) moves around.
Am I using the correct command?
Thanks a lot...

I've been getting lots of offline requests lately to post the
Internetwork Expert topologies in Dynamips/Dynagen form, so I've created
a white paper about it:
http://www.internetworkexpert.com/resources/iosonpc.htm
For those of you unfamiliar with the software package you can
use it to boot real IOS images for the 7206, 3620, 3640, and 3660 on
your desktop PC to create a CCIE lab environment.
Thanks,
