Basically, there are three major things that differ between 3550/3560:

1) IPv6 support in 3560
2) Different QoS mechanics (SRR, WTD, Ingress Queues, VLAN-based
    policy maps)
3) Private VLANs

There are some other minor differences (like storm-control bps etc)
however you should focus on those three, especially QoS. As usual,
Cisco put it in most weird way :)
