OSPF Loopback issue

Hi,

I have one router2 in area 4 and one switch1 in area 8. I have other
routers and a switch2 running in area 0 and other areas
And question is only the loopbacks of the router and the switch should
be /24. Don't use ip ospf net ptp or redistribution.

Can I use area range with the specified areas they belong to?
Eg/ router 2: area 4 range 10.10.4.4 255.255.255.0
    Switch 1: area 8 range 10.10.8.8 255.255.255.0

Or are there any other logics?
