R+S LAB equipment

I think this whole CCIE lab exam thing is becoming more of a psychological
battle (akin to a chess game) than an honest test of someone Networking
skills...and that kinda sucks big time :(.

I really do not see any reason why Cisco and its proctors cannot come out in
very simple, plain and concise english words and clear the whole confusion
on issues like this. The issue here is very simple: Are we going to start
seeing FOUR switches in the lab starting in November or NOT. The answer
should be YES OR NO!! Why are they playing games with words. If they are not
sure of their facts, they should refrain from making/sending confusing
comments and emails. After all this is still a basic business transaction
between Cisco (the seller) and the CCIE candidates (the buyer), simple
business ethics expect them to be very honest, sincere, and forthcoming,
with their customers. If we cannot tolerate whimsical attitudes like this
from the likes of KMART or DELL or whoever, why are we sucking it up with
Cisco for 1250 bucks!

I sincerely think the whole CCIE team in Cisco need to do start doing a
better job communincating with CCIE candidates on issues like this (like
sending emails to candidates who have scheduled their labs after the date,).
I think this whole wall of silence and NDA thing is being streched beyong
legal limits on issues like this.

Just my dime!

Josef.
