Reachability with BackBone routes

Hi All,

In a real lab should we maintain connectivity to the routes learned from
the backbone routers?

For this to happen, either the backbone routers should have static
routes towards the internal IP address space or I have to redistribute.
My question is will I lose points if I redistributed my internal IP
address space towards the backbone routers although it is not explicitly
required.

Hope that somebody helps with this.
