Hi,
The multicast helper example of IOS ver12.2 is wrong.
I remember I had a similar task in IEWB, (I forget which Lab).
I had tested about this, and ensure that the example of 12.2 & 12.3(actually
link to 12.2) are worng.
All the "ip multicast helper" command should be placed on interface which
facing the "pre-converted traffic".
This should be applied on wheather you want conver "multicast to broadcast"
or "broadcast to multicast"
Also the "ip directed-broadcast" command is not needed on the first-hop
router in the Cisco Docs example.
