In my experience, redistribution between routing protocols will include
connected subnets involved in those protocols unless a "redistribute
connected" with a route-map already exists. If that is the case, then
the connected subnets involved in the routing protocol will not be
redistributed. In order to remedy this, simply include the connected
networks into the existing route-map.

Correct me if I am wrong, I think the answer is always if you want the
connected interfaces to be part of the full connectivity.
Redistribution between two protocols on the same router does not
redistribute connected interfaces even they are included in one of the
protocols already.

Subject: when do we need to redistribute connected
Dear GS,
When doing redistribute between routing protocols, I used to confuse
when it
is necessary to redistribute connected, when it is not necessary.
Could you please give me some guidance and also some reference if any.
Thanks and best regards,
Tony
