Actually I made a mistake in the previous email.
If a router is redistributing between two routers, the behavior should
be:
1. if connected interfaces are already advertised into one of the
routing protocols by "network" statement, no "redistribute connected"
needed
2. if connected interfaces are already advertised into one of routing
protocols by "redistributed connected", "redistribute connected" is also
needed for each other protocol.

Correct me if I am wrong, I think the answer is always if you want the
connected interfaces to be part of the full connectivity.
Redistribution between two protocols on the same router does not
redistribute connected interfaces even they are included in one of the
protocols already.

Subject: when do we need to redistribute connected
Dear GS,
When doing redistribute between routing protocols, I used to confuse
when it
is necessary to redistribute connected, when it is not necessary.
Could you please give me some guidance and also some reference if any.
Thanks and best regards,
Tony
