Are you saying that you are using Cisco SIP Proxy Server and a IOS based SIP
Gateway?
Or some other sort of SIP server?
Do you have a Cisco CallManager server anywhere in the mix?
Please provide a little more detail and possibly a sketch of how things are
connected and I would be glad to assist you!

Subject: OT : VOIP doubts
Hi group,
If anyone has implemented VOIP setup , where in we will have PSTN lines
terminating to FXO card on the cisco router.
And we have SIP protocol between cisco and a sip server and sip clients
hang off the sip server.
And a SIP client getting called internally when the PSTN number is called (
using PLAR setup ).
I have problems with FXO port remaining connected even after the calling
party hang up..
I have read the cisco site's about the work around for FXO disconnects
problems , but it doesn't help.
Might be iam not understanding the SIP server and cisco router's
communication properly.
Please contact me offline for this problem.
Thanks
Vishal
