It is usual...CCIE Cert became some logo that guarantees you 6 figure
salary, job placement or something else. That is why people want to
get this title.
Faster you get one, faster you will start to receive your $$$.
When I did my first MCP exam back in 1996 TCP/IP, not to many people
follow...Today 1 million people have MCP :))
The same will happen to CCIE...just with slower pace.
