Yes, stick the VWIC in the HWIC slot on the 2800/3800 router, but you will
need PVDM2's (DSPs) on the router's motherboard for the router to use the
VWIC.

For you PBX trunk:

router-vwic+dsp's is the way to go IMHO

Can I put a VWIC-2MFT1 in the HWIC slot of the 28/3800 series routers? Or
do I need to add onboard DSP modules to support them.
Is there a good link to describe this?

I need a 2800 with on T1 interface to a PBX. What is the best config,
router-vwic+dsp's or
router-nm-hd-ve-vwic (dsp onboard nm card)

Thanks for your help
