telnet traffic generation

Hi,

how would it be possible to generate traffic from a specific vlan?

I gave the vlan an ip address and then tried to telnet from there with
a /source-interface option.

SW1# telnet 131.1.23.1 80 /source-interface vlan 22
                                                                         
      ^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

SW1#

But for some reasons, this does not work. Probably telnet is expecting
other vlan variables.

I just want to test a policy i see if certain traffic is matching.
