Yes this is valid solution. By the way R5 and R6 is connected via multipoint
FR to R2 over ospf backbone area. So R2 should learn all paths via R5 right? Or
this is true for only for non-backbone area? Now I am more confused than ever
because I am getting routes preferred via R6 from R2. 8-(
Back to my original question, the way you explained it it means that
supposedly with the distance command that I did this should work. And it is not
working because of some issue with the IOS. Is this what you meant? I believe
R5 is sending Summary, Router and External LSA's as well via my virtual link to
R5. I am thinking correctly?
