I think he was originally talking about T1's, which is a different concept.
Channel-group configuration on T1's is a method of channelizing
(sub-rate/sub-interface) within a T1, E1, PRI device.
As far as we have to deal with on the lab, the etherchannel version of
channel-group you are referring to is all that we will be responsible for!
