This is for deployment of IOS router or asa 5505 but concept would be
the same with other hardware.

Subject: WebVPN - SSL VPN

Hi group,

Some expert out there can you shed me some light on this topic. I can
not find any good explanation documentation anywhere about setting up
SSL VPN example.

My confusion here is when I setup a SSL VPN, do I need IP address pool
for the client group/user? Thought, SSL VPN is a clientless and
everything is tunnel inside SSL b/t the internet browser and the
external interface of the VPN Concentrator so it will not require IP
address pool as legacy IPsec VPN or PPTP.

Is it true if I set a default route on the VPN concentrator pointing out
to the internet and no need IP address pool for the client, and it will
be accessible from anywhere from the internet???

Thanks in advance,

Dusty
