ipv6 address with eui-64 or without eui-64

Dear Group,

I am confused when to use eui-64, when not to use eui-64. How to regconise the
specific requirement from the exam? For example, for a same requirement, but
in IEWBv3v1 lab 8 the solution use eui-64, but in the IEWBv3v1 lab 10, the
solution does not use eui-64.
