I have emailed Cisco on this topic. If you are a CCIE and registered with a
company, that company can hold your CERT for one year after you leave.
Unless you get fired or they release it. It does not matter when you
actually get the CERT. They do this to prevent companies from luring CCIEs
from Companies. Because of this, whenever I go to take the lab (hopefully
not to many more times) I disassociate myself from my company. This way,
when I pass I am not obligated to stay with the "lowest bider".
