Subject: ospf neighbor command
Hi,
I changed the interface type of my ethernet interface to non broadcast using
the command ip ospf network non-broadcast.
Then I tried to configure neighbor with the neighboring router through this
interface using the command
neighbor 183.1.5.5
But it displays a message "OSPF: Neighbor command is allowed only on NBMA
and point-to-multipoint networks"
When i say show ip ospf int eth0/0
it shows the interface type as NON_BROADCAST.
Is it an expected behaviour?
Please advice.
Regards,
Eldho.
