Agreed ... WS-X6548-GE-45AF would be the way to go with a SUP720.
I would disagree with your comment about the 61xx blades being legacy. If
you are running SUP32's in your closet then it doesn't make sense to use
65xx blades as the SUP32's have no connection to the fabric (nor from the
design does it look like they can add it).
