Hi ,
I have a router R with 3 interfaces (serial 0 , Serial 1 , fast
ethernet 0 ) . I have hosts on a LAN connected to Fast ethernet 0 ,,,
with private ip's(of hosts) getting Source NAT tted to a Serial 0 's ip
which is connected to an ISP A so that it can reach to the internet
(thru Seria 0) .
Now i have enabled " ip sla monitor" to check if the link to ISP A is up /
down . If Down ,, the traffic should be sent thru Serial 1 which
leads it to another ISP B and from there to internet .
Problem :
--------------------
Lets say that Serial 0 link is down , then i will have to pass the traffic
onto serial 1 to ISP B .Now if Natting happens before this then there is no
use .
Is there a way to make ip sla monitor to remove the NAT statement or any
other way to stop the NAT from getting processed
or on second thoughts is NAT intelligent
when traffic is sent thru Serial 1 interface (at times of Serial 0 link
failure ) .
Please bear with me for a slight OT question ,,,,,
Thanks
Kay
