maximum diameter for 802.1w (RSTP) switched network

Hi everyone,

  in 802.1d STP domain using, the IEEE recommendation is to consider a
maximum diameter of seven bridges for the default STP timers.

  for 802.1w STP domain, does the maximum diameter of seven
bridges/switch still applies?
