stick address versus static address

Hi ,
      A silly one,, Is there is a diference between the following

a.) sw port-security mac-address sticky

and

b.)sw port-security mac-address xyz

where xyz is the mac-address of the device which is connected to the
respective port ,,which is the address learned when sticky is enabled .
