Hi There Shanky,

There is no validate-update-source option like in RIP, but for OSPF

Also
Router(config)#int lo 0

Router(config-if)#ip add 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.0 sec

Router(config-if)#exit

Router(config)#router ospf 1

Router(config)#

*Mar 1 00:31:28.823: %OSPF-4-NORTRID: OSPF process 1 cannot start. There
must be at l
east one "up" IP interface, for OSPF to use as router ID

Can we use no validate-update-source so the router doesnt expect the remote
end to be on the same subnet here ?

Let me know if it works..
