HI,

Strange thing. I just tested this again. I did this on
3 different routers: R1<>R2<>R3....

I first put the password on R1: "neigh R2 pass why".
Of course I started to get the error message. I add
the password on R2: "neigh R1 pass why" After I add
the neighbor statement, I did a clear ip bgp *. It
seems like it took about 5 minutes before I stopped
getting the messages no md5 digest from showing up.
In fact, I had to do a clear ip bgp x on the remote
side of where the messages were showing up. On R3, I
had to type the password in twice. I don't think I had
a password configured incorrectly but....
