Hi All,

My remote end peer has configured a MD5 authentication in BGP neighbor command
and gave me the string- for example say ciscopeer.
I applied the same string in my neighbor command as
router bgp 12345
neighbor X.X.X.X password ciscopeer

The error bad authentication is seen in error messages,i also tried giving
neighbor X.X.X.X password 5 ciscopeer, but same problem, i checked the links
in cisco site to enable MD5, it is not giving me any clues,

any help ?

Regards
Mohamed
