Yes this is correct, and I would like to add that the command " bgp
suppress-inactive "
will only suppress advertisment of the prefix marked as a rib failure if
there is a next-hop-mismatch.
For example: in case 1 below R1 is announcing its loopback to R2 via both
eigrp and bgp.
There will be a RIB failure but the prefix will still be advertised, to R3.
In case 2 the command " bgp suppress-inactive " will work because the
loopback is actually learned from
a different next hop: R3 will not receive the route via bgp.
Case 1
loopback0--R1--eigrp and bgp-----R2----bgp---R3
Case 2
loopback0--R1--bgp-----R2----bgp---R3
