Hi All ,
I am little bit confused abt marking In /out ,please consider the
following scenario
----------------VLAN A ---------------------e0/0 ( RouterA )
s0/0---------------------------------------e0/0 ( Router B )
e1/1---------------------------- VLAN B
QUESTION : Mark any packets that enter from VLAN A which lead to the Vlan
B with a DSCP of af 33 & set a bandwidth of 50% for the same
-----------------
What i did :
------------------
marked all the packets and set the bandwidth % , both at s0/0 of Router
A with "service out policymap "
What the key says :
----------------------------------
mark the packets at e0/0 , and set the bandwidth % at s0/0
,,,,,,,,,,,with "service in policymap1" at e0/0 and with " service out
bw" at s0/0 (for applying bw %)
Now i bet that the solution is right :( ,,,,,,,,,,,,,but i am just
wondering how to correctly interpret the direction of marking from the
question
Is it that the marking can be done only at inbound ?
TIA ,
Kay
