RSPT, is kind of like, using eigrp terminology, like having a
successor/feasible successor for spanning tree. If your conditions are met
it converges quickly.

Subject: RSTP convergence time

Hi group,

I have searched on CCO extensively but can not find a definitive answer on
how fast a switch network using RSTP will converge. I have read in one of
the documents on CCO that it can converge within msecs, but there is no more
explanation to support this statement.

Any thoughts and references will be apprecieted.

Thanks
Elias
