you can use object tracking, and track selected BGP prefix, for instance:
track 1 ip route 1.2.3.0 255.255.255.0 reachability
you may also choose to track and RTP (IP SLA) object, that pings remote end:
ip sla monitor 1
type echo protocol ipIcmpEcho 1.2.3.4
timeout 1000
frequency 1
!
track 1 rtr 1 reachability
There are many other options, like using IP SLA tcp connect operation also.
