The real question is does the Packet Magazine actually
add value to you or your company.
If it does then the cost is simply an ROI, if it does
not don't buy it.
A very simple equation really.
For me, I barely read the one I get now. So to payfo
something that I do not value as much, means I will be
one of those who would let the subscription drop.
It adds very little value to my job function and I
would not be willing to ask my management to pay for
it.
So I will be one of those people it can no longer
count among its readership.
I suspect that if many people felt that way then Cisco
would need to reevaluate its position.
I have seen only a few articles over the years that I
personally could refer to and overall, I have not got
the value from it.
Every time I get a renewal, I force myself to renew
trying to support my favorite vendor.
But I am not willing to pay for something I barely
read in the first place.
Others may chomp at the bit over this one. I don't
feel this one is worth fighting for.
