I have a voice vlan question. I have seen that there are two possible
configurations to question that says to trust the cisco phone connected
to the switchport and configure any pc/device connected to the phone to
have it's cos rewritten to 2. I would prefer the configuration for
fa0/4. However, when would we want to use the configuration on port
fa0/3? Do they not accomplish the same thing? Just trying to get a
handle on the differences here.
interface FastEthernet0/2
switchport access vlan 10
switchport mode dynamic desirable
switchport voice vlan 15
switchport priority extend cos 2
mls qos trust device cisco-phone
spanning-tree portfast
