Subject: Re: Routers for sale?
Actually I'm talking about my own equipment. Not as a
Cisco Partner for that matter.
Things I have bought and upgraded, etc. for my own
needs or perceived needs over the years.
Naturally, all items should work. Worst case
scenario, is that I would either replace the defective
equipment or it I could not to your satisfaction with
an equal or greater item, I'd simply perform a refund.
It is all used equipment and as you know Cisco does
not support "gray market" equipment.
I usually would honor the above policy for 30 days or
so giving the buyer time to receive and test the
equipment.
All shipments are insured as a rule, I do this to
protect both parties.
No one should never assume Cisco will warranty any
item not sold to them directly by Cisco or via the an
authorized Channel. I did not suggest this or mean to
imply this.
I'm not a reseller by the way.
I'm just me and I usually buy and sell in an effort to
satisfy my own equipment requirements, sometimes I get
good deals and can buy/sell cheap and I sometimes I
have only benefitted by obtaining another piece of
equipment in the bargain.
So it would just be from me to the buyer.
That's why I offered my ebay feedback to help someone
get an idea of how I conduct my transactions and to
get a sense of how I have treated others in the past.
But, I do not do this for profit or as a business,
just to be clear.
