Group,

I have following group mapping in multicast routing table.

150.1.5.5 , 224.0.1.39 ----> upstream neighbour address
150.1.8.8 , 224.0.1.40 -----> Auto-rp agent

I understand autorp agent is sending multicast discovery for rp-group
mapping on 224.0.1.10 address but what about 224.0.1.39 ??
 I see on all the router each neigbour is listning on 224.0.1.39 from
upstram router.

What I understand 224.0.1.40 is used for listning group to rp mapping from
auto-rp but what about 224.0.1.39 ?

Thanks,

R1# sho ip mro
