p2m is a network type where you do not get in the
process of DR/BDR election. same is the case with p2p.

neighbor cmd sends unicast over a nbma cloud. 2
different functions. if you use p2m then need not
worry about priority 0 on spoke and neighbor cmd on
hub.

you can check the ospf interface type by show ip ospf
interface
