Hi there John,
I'm a big believer in positive thinking. If you think you're not going
to pass - then you probably will not. If you go in thinking that you
can pass, then you're off to the best start.
When I went into the exams (I passed on my second attempt) the first
thing that I did was sit down with a coffee and read the exam paper
cover to cover. I heard other people typing away on their keyboards,
which are VERY loud! I also heard some phones ringing from people
taking the voice exam. I re-drew the diagrams to my liking and it had
taken me about 30 from the start to fully read through the paper and
draw my own diagrams. Don't worry about what anyone else is doing - I
promise you in the afternoon other peoples typing becomes MUCH slower!!
Scott Morris has a good tip to wear ear plugs. Maybe this isn't the
thing for you , but the thing to remember is that it's your exam and you
can spend you time however you like. I must have drank 8 bottles of
water during the day, to keep my concentration up. It is a long day,
but passing the lab is more than possible - as long as you think it is ;-)
Good luck !
