Only 7 days left to my 3rd attempt.
Today, I finally, for the first time, practiced filtering as-path using regexp to pick up the originating AS, which was _253$ , not ^253_ . Univercd made a mistake.
Today is the first time I can read through all Martin Duggan's 6 lab's EGP sections and feel there are no tricks in his lab exercises.
At the 2nd failure, my EGP section was %40, IGP section was %20 .
7 days left, I am going to practice some IGP features for the first remaining day.
I am done with EGP. No time left to revisit.
From my 2nd failure experience, I think IGP redisitribution is the hardest trick and is the soul of the whole CCIE program. I think it is what gives CCIEs the "prestige".
Help me. Any CCIE out there tell me I am too far away from passing unless I study like crazy for the rest of the 7 days. And I will study like crazy.
John
