OK -

I think this may help a bit:

1. Let's start by filtering the PVC's we want to see by doing the following:

sh fram pvc | inc <XXX> - where XXX is the DLCI

or

sh fram pvc | exc inactive

etc.

2. If we are told something like this:

A. Don't use any frame relay map commands
B. We are told to use only physical interfaces
C. Router XX should not send Inverse-Arp requests out the Frame Cloud

How do we resolve this one?

Answer:

No fram inv <Protocol> DLCI 111
No fram inv <Protocol> DLCI 222

etc.

Leaving only the dlci you are looking for.

You might use inverse-arp to first see what DLCI's you have to remove or you could disable inverse-arp initially and then use sh fram pvc to see what DLCI's are available and might need to be dealt with.

Your choice.

Hope this helps...

Darby
