Hi there,

This does seem like a problem with you packet sizes. Send an extended
ping sweep of sizes to make sure.

Try dropping the mtu size of the interface to compensate for the
overhead of the tunnel. The physical MTU of the interface will remain
the same. Then run the ping sweep again and see how it goes.
