Hi Horobin,

I just read this issue the other day in Solie's "Practical Studies" book
(page 241). It mentions that in newer version of IOS is is actually required
to enable "ip pim" on the RP itself.

As to the other question, u rather be safe than sorry. For the exam, just
enable it (unless it specifically says not to).
