Hi Group,

Thanks to Victor and Brain for the inputs,

i forgot to mention that the scenario is in fact among
3 routers in a common ethernet segment.

the lab scenario specifies the use "ip ospf network
non-broadcast" on all 3 routers

the solution states to use neighbor statements as well
for the BDR.

i have just tried out in the lab......conclusion: the
neighbor statement is needed on the BDR as well in the
event DR goes down.

any comments
