Roberto,

Keep plugging away, and mix things up a bit. Personally, I am finding that
doing the labs and getting them correct according to the solution guide is
nice, but then taking it a step further and using other technology specific
commands creates an awesome learning environment. Do not get caught up in
'hurry up and finish so I can move on to the next lab' as this is the same
as taking a walk and not noticing your surroundings. You know you can take
some extra time when doing a vendor lab and each technology, try a couple of
variants and use commands that you that you are not familiar with, this will
give you an opportunity to learn more than just what is presented in the
given lab scenario, and gain a more thorough UNDERSTANDING of the
technology.

Also, there is no shame in failing, only quitting.

Best of Luck!

Wayne

Dude,

I took the lab 4 times and with exception of my
passing the 4th time, my first try was my best.
Just keep trying and keep improving your weak areas.
Also get a handle on your speed, you'll want about
an 1-1.5 hours at the end of the test to check
things. completing the test too close to the finish
line leaves you with no wiggle room.

Between each try I had 3-4 months gap, and over
those 3-4 months studied daily. You'll get it, it's
really about determination as much as learning the
technology.

oh...Dont tie your success to a particular workbook,
find what works for you. If you find yourself acing
the labs in a workbook, get another and maybe
another. I ended up with over 4 vendors workbooks.
You dont want to get locked into a particular
methodology, you may get too comfortable. Always try
to shake things up, test yourself and then you'll be
pleasantly surprised at test day.
