Frame-relay Question

In the scenario as below

R5(s0/0)-----FR ------(s0/0)R6

Both routers are using physical interfaces. Can i use Inverse-ARP on R5 and
Frame-relay map statement on R6, Will this work for them to communicate. I
tried to work it out, but doesnt work.

My config is below.

Rack1R5#
!
interface s0/0
 ip address 54.1.1.254 255.255.255.0
 encapsulation frame-relay

Rack1R6#
!
interface s0/0
 ip address 54.1.1.6 255.255.255.0
 encapsulation frame-relay
 frame-relay map ip 54.1.1.254 101 broadcast
 no frame-relay inverse-arp

When i make both sides Inverse-arp it works. Both sides Static mapping also
works.
Anything wrong i am trying here?
