Yes i understand this, but this is going to be a routet net with redundancy
so does this tunnel transport layer 3 routing information also?

as Vishal Patel said, L2TPv3 will make your VLANs happy across the
non-trunking media... Just set up a L2TPv3 tunnel from R1 to R2. Or you
are asking for "out-of-the box" recipe?
