redistribution from IGP1(higher AD) to IGP2(lower AD)

Hi Group,

when we redistribute from a higher AD IGP say rip to
an IGP with lower AD, say ospf.

It is a must to tweak the AD lower(say 109, lower than
ospf) for all rip routes, if not after the
redistribution, u'll find that ospf will "win".
And now, the rip routes on the router doing the
redistribution becomes ospf routes. yucks!

True?

but when i tested it on a 3 router scenario, its not
true, no loops, i am confused

would appreciate any ideas and feedback
