Correct............. pointing a router interface as next-hop for a static
route for multi-access networks (i.e. Ethernet, Frame) is not recommended as
you might end with big big arp table in Ethernet and in frame-relay
multi-point you will need a static mapping for every destination

If I'm not mistaken when you use an interface as the next hop on ethernet it

proxy arp's for the next hop which isn't really a good idea. I think this
was touched on a few months ago.
