Brad,
Coming back to same old question. Can I run CME on 3640? Another thing I
noticed is cost of buying 2600XM and upgrading it to (48 Flash and 256 DRAM)
is comparable to 2801 or 2811 pricing (brand new)
I will order the Call manager and Cisco Unity through my account manager and
I will get 2 x 7940 phones
Do you need any network modules like NM-2V or VIC-2FXO or VIC-2FXS?
Ubaid

Ubaaid,
2600XM for CME and your gateway
Check out the books that go with the CCVP exams
No, you probably dont need ad T1/E1 simulator to start with
You can get two IP phones and also use IP Communicator (or VTGO softphone)
One server with Call Manager (wmare image)
One server with unity (vmware image)
that should do it.
thanks,
Brad Ellis

Subject: Best Way to Learn IP Telephony (Cisco Call Manager)
Guys,
I want to get in to Cisco IP Telephony and want to know where I should start
from and what the best to climb the ropes. I come from R&S and Security
background
Do you recommend training courses or buy my home lab. What should I buy if I
want to learn at home?
Any books and CBT
I am thinking to take it as a hobby and I think it will be good fun :)
What do you think of this ebay practice lab
