Hello guys,
We all know that in real life people usually rely on MBGP to exchange
multicast routing information (mcast sources). That's how interdomain
multicast is usually being built: MSDP+MBGP.
AnycastRP is, after all, an intradomain multicast task. But one should
remember MBGP anyway. In some complex cases, you may look at
your BGP topology, and enable MBGP to deliver some multicast
routing information (e.g, if you are prohibited to use static mroute
entries).
While this may look overcomplicated, it really worked in some of my
training scenarios :)
