Hi All,

Apologize but I am just diving in here right now so please pardon any
incorrect assumptions. From the scenario above I gather that the problem is
that R6 is getting 2 paths in its BGP RIB and R3 is not getting it.
Everything else seems to be working correctly. Please do correct me if I
have misunderstood the actual problem.

Now my take on this is that R5 is learning the routes from R3 and R6. BGP
will advertise only its best routes to other neighbors. However based on the
best path algorithm R5 is choosing the path from R3 as the best path. Hence
it is advertising it to R6 & R4. I don't think it would advertise it back to
R3 as it received the route from there. Please let me know if I am
incorrect.
