Subject: SMTP ifindex

Does anybody know how to directly relate the ifindex number to a specific
interface on a router? The docs I found said to copy down the ifIndex-table
file from NVRAM, which I did and supposedly that has the description but
every reader I use to view the file does not format it correctly and I lose
the description. CCO says this is a binary file so maybe I need some type
of binary viewer?

Thanks in advance!

Rik
