Imran -

You can get around this with the interface option on the switch interfaces
attached to the routers, "l2protocol-tunnel cdp". When you go back to the
router, you will now see both cdp neighbors....the switch and the remote
router. This should do it.

Subject: ODR Over Ethernet Segments

Hello Folks,

I was practicing ODR and noticed that I was able to get it working over
Serial
links, but not over Ethernets. The Ethernet link is question goes through a
switch in between. Since ODR uses CDP, I am assuming that this is normal as
routers see the intermediate switch as its CDP neighbor and hence are not
able
to pass CDP "routes" between them directly.

Can someone please confirm this or prove me wrong.

Thanks,
Imran.
